CD Reviews : False Alarm-Fuck Em All We've Allready(Now)Won/Youth Gone Mad split CD
 
CD Reviews False Alarm sounds exactly like you'd expect from a record with Cheetah Crome (Dead Boys) on it. It reminds me a ton of the Dead Boys "We Have Come For Your Children". Everything flat out rocks, but nothing jumps off the page, because everything rocks. So it gets hard to separate the tracks in your mind's eye without repeated listenings. But "No Choice" did stand out a bit. It's a great everything louder then everything else album.

Youth Gone Mad's album shows the hand of Dee Dee Ramone all over it (yes that Dee Dee Ramone). Dee Dee liked to see what type of experiments you could do with punk to make it more interesting to him. It's got a relatively straight forward feel, but with a lot of experimentation as far as rhythms.
If you like 77 style East Coast Punk rock, right out of the gutters of NYC, I quite frankly can't see why you aren't done reading this and contacting False Alarm Records to get your own copy of this lovely slab 'O' CD re-issue
